RideLab

Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Capped Out Media, LLC wants RideLab to work for everyone, including riders and trainers using a screen reader, a keyboard only, or a device with limited vision, hearing, or motor control. We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the website and app.

What we do

  • A skip-to-content link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen reader users.
  • Visible focus outlines on every interactive element, tuned for keyboard navigation.
  • Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and heading structure on every page.
  • Color contrast that meets AA for text and interactive elements.
  • Minimum 44 by 44 pixel tap targets for buttons, links, and form controls.
  • Decorative icons hidden from assistive technology; meaningful icons and images carry alt text.
  • Form fields with visible labels and inline, programmatically associated error messages.
  • Async errors announced to screen readers as alerts as they happen.
  • Motion and animation reduced automatically when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Legal documents available both as accessible modal dialogs (focus-trapped, closable with Escape) and as standalone pages for assistive technology and direct links.

Known limitations

  • Live video sessions do not yet have real-time captions. We plan to add this; in the meantime, a critique's AI synopsis and transcript remain available in writing after the fact.
  • Freehand drawing annotations on a critique video are a visual-only layer; the accompanying spoken audio and written synopsis carry the same feedback in another form.

Feedback

If you hit an accessibility barrier anywhere on RideLab, tell us. Include the page or screen, what happened, and the assistive technology you were using if relevant, and email support@ridelab.ai. We will work with you to fix it.
