RideLab
A trainer on horseback working a herd of cattle in a dusty arena.

Coach the riders who cannot get to your barn.

Critique ride videos on your own time, take live video lessons, and judge runs if you hold the cards. Just talk over the ride and AI writes it up for the rider. RideLab handles booking, payment, and payout.

What you get

The same work you do at the rail, for riders who could never get to it. The parts you dislike, we take.

You set the price
You pick your prices for critiques and live lessons once you are approved. The allowed ranges and the platform fee are on your dashboard after you sign in. The fee covers card processing, video hosting and support, and your share goes to your bank through Stripe Connect a few days after each job.
Live, recorded, or both
Turn on live lessons, ride critiques, or both. On a critique you play, pause, and draw on the rider's footage while you talk, or film a reply of your own. The rider gets your voice, your marks, and a written breakdown you never had to type.
Your hours, your limits
Set the weekly hours you are open for live lessons, and switch critiques and live lessons on or off separately. Change either from the app whenever your schedule does.
Earn on the pros you bring
Know a coach or judge who belongs here? Send them your invite link and earn a share of what RideLabmakes on their paid work, for as long as you are both here. It costs them nothing. How referrals work
Sponsored placement when you want it
Pay 50 credits for 30 days of extra visibility in search and browse results. It is always labeled Sponsored and never changes your rating or review order.

You talk. The write-up does itself.

Coach the ride the way you would at the rail. When you hit send, we transcribe what you said and AI turns it into a written breakdown for the rider. No typing, no notes, no homework sheet.

It is built only from what you said on that ride. Want to change a line? Edit it in the app and the rider sees your version.

What the rider gets

Softer hands, and your canter departs will come.

  • 0:42Lovely straight line down the long side. Keep that eye up.
  • 1:18You grab the outside rein before the depart. He braces because the door closes on him.

Drill: spiral in, leg yield out

Three laps on a shrinking circle, then push him back out with your inside leg, rein soft.

An example. Yours is written from your own words.
Moments, stamped
Every strength and correction carries the second it happened. The rider taps it and the ride jumps there.
The why behind each fix
Corrections come with the reason you gave, in your words, not a canned tip.
Drills to go practice
Each drill you mention becomes a named exercise with how to ride it.
What to work on next
A short list for their next ride, pulled from what you stressed most.
Safety stays loud
If you flag lameness, bad tack or a rider losing control, it goes to the top, plainly.

What is in the app for you

Everything below ships today, on iPhone, Android and the web.

The Studio
Play, pause, scrub, zoom and draw on the rider's footage in color while you talk. A walkthrough runs the first time.
Reply on video
Some things are easier to show. Film yourself instead, a demo or a drill or a word to camera, up to ten minutes.
Takes and follow-ups
Break one ride into titled takes, one problem each. For 30 days you can add follow-ups or redo a take.
Paid questions
Riders can tip to ask about a moment in your critique. You answer with a new take pinned to their question.
Hear the rider first
Riders can talk over their own ride before they send it, so you know what they felt and what they want looked at.
Sell a monthly plan
Name it, price it, and set how many critiques, judged runs, lessons or live sessions it covers. See who is on it and pause signups any time.
Available now
Flip the switch and your profile shows a Start now button for the next hour. Riders call you straight from it.
Coach and ride
Plenty of coaches still ride. One tap in the app header switches between Coaching and Riding, so you can send your own runs to other pros.
See what you have earned
Earnings split into pending, available and paid, with every payout to your bank through Stripe Connect.

Getting started

Ten minutes on the application. Everything after that happens in the app.

  1. Apply

Tell us your background, disciplines, and how long you have been training. A person reads every application.

  2. Get approved

Once you are approved you get an email to set your password and sign in to the app.

  3. Set your prices

The first screen you see is your prices. Pick what you charge for critiques and live lessons, then connect Stripe for payouts.

  4. Start coaching

Riders send ride videos or book live lessons. You draw and talk over the ride, or film a reply, and the write-up for the rider is done for you.

Questions you might have

Everything from applying through your first lesson or critique.

Can I earn by bringing in other pros?
Yes. Once you are approved, the app gives you an invite link. Every coach or judge who joins through it earns you a share of what RideLab makes on their paid work, for as long as you are both here. It costs them nothing. See how it works on the Refer a pro page.
Do I have to type up notes after a critique?
No. We transcribe what you say while you coach the video, and AI writes it up for the rider: the moments you called out with their timestamps, your corrections and why, drills, and what to work on next. You can edit any of it in the app, and the rider sees your edit.
Can I answer with my own video?
Yes. On a first delivery, a follow-up, a redo or the answer to a question, you can film yourself instead of talking over their ride. The rider gets a notice that you sent a video reply, with a transcript.
I still ride. Can I use the app as a rider too?
Yes, on the same account. Switch to Riding in the app header to send your own rides to other trainers and judges, then switch back to your dashboard.
Do I need a big name to apply?
No. We look at what you teach and how long you have been teaching it. If you give lessons now, you can coach here.
How do I get paid?
You set your prices once you are approved, and your dashboard shows the allowed ranges and the platform fee. Riders pay up front. After each lesson or critique, your share goes to your bank through Stripe Connect, usually within a few days.
How long do I have to answer a critique?
48 hours to accept it, then three days to send it. If you do not accept in time, the rider gets a full refund.
What if I cannot take a critique or a lesson?
Decline or cancel it in the app. When you are the one who cancels, the rider always gets a full refund.
Can I do live lessons and critiques?
Both or just one. Each switches on and off separately and has its own price.
What do I need?
A phone with the RideLab app, on iPhone or Android, and a steady connection. Critiques and live lessons both run in the app, where you draw on the rider's video while you talk.
Where do riders find me?
In the coach directory on ridelab.ai and in the app, with your disciplines, prices, rating and reviews.
What if a rider leaves a bad review?
Reviews are public, and you can post a reply under any of them. If a review breaks our terms, contact support.
Can I coach and judge both?
Yes. Judging is its own switch with its own price, and it needs the association cards you hold. The judge page has the details.
Can I pause?
Yes. Switch critiques and live lessons off on your prices screen and new bookings stop. Switch them back on whenever you like.
